An Astrology of Peace

Peacemakers come in as many varieties as there are people. On this holiday weekend, I decided to have a look at how different signs go about making peace. Try this.

Aries
Their key phrase is I am.
I am committed to making peace wherever I go.
Taurus
Their key phrase is I have.
I have a commitment to make peace with everyone.
Gemini
Their key phrase is I think.
I think the thoughts of a peacemaker.
Cancer
Their key phrase is I feel.
I feel that peacemaking is the most important thing I do.
Leo
Their key phrase is I will.
I will to make peace on earth.
Virgo
Their key phrase is I analyze.
I analyze and teach the ideas that make for peace.
Libra
Their key phrase is I balance.
I balance my life to make peace for myself and others.
Scorpio
Their key phrase is I desire.
I desire to make peace above all things.
Sagittarius
Their key phrase is I understand.
I understand the peacemaking process.
Capricorn
Their key phrase is I use.
I use peacemaking to make peace.
Aquarius
Their key phrase is I know.
I know how to make peace and I do it.
Pisces
Their key phrase is I believe.
I believe that making peace is the most important work in the world.

This could be viewed as an exercise in frivolity, but take a moment to think again. Peace is different for each one of us. We all want peace, it’s true, but the largest mistake made about peace is that it’s so often theoretical.

Let’s put some hands and feet on our peace.

Hi Susan, I always enjoy your blogs. I was trying to guess your sign... are you a Cancer?

I'm a Gemini and am definitely a thinker. Does that make me a passive peacemaker since I take no action? Hmmm...I ^<i^>think so.

Dear Barry, a Libra with 5 planets in Libra, a Gemini moon, and thank Goddess, Capricorn rising otherwise I'd never be able to sit in a chair!

A smile from this article. And good food for thought: many different perspectives focused on a single goal. (Anne Thomas, Japan)
